Rockland Community College announced today that it has received an “A” rating in the 2026 Campus Antisemitism Report Card, released by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). The report recognizes institutions across the country that demonstrate strong policies, leadership, and action to combat antisemitism and support Jewish students, faculty, and staff.

The expanded report evaluated 150 colleges and universities nationwide, assessing institutional policies, administrative actions, and campus climate initiatives related to antisemitism. Schools earning the highest marks were recognized for consistently condemning antisemitic incidents, enforcing clear conduct standards, and investing in Jewish campus life and student support. Only 15% of the 150 colleges received an A rating.

“Rockland Community College is honored to receive this outstanding recognition in the ADL Campus Antisemitism Report Card,” said Dr. William P. Mullaney, president of Rockland Community College. “This rating reflects our unwavering commitment to ensuring that every member of our campus community feels safe, respected, and supported. We will continue working with students, faculty, and community partners to foster an inclusive environment where antisemitism and all forms of hate have no place.”

Rockland Community College’s A rating reflects its proactive leadership, clear institutional policies, and ongoing engagement with national best practices to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for Jewish students and the entire campus community. “As higher education institutions continue to confront complex challenges related to bias and discrimination, RCC remains committed to leading with accountability, education, and action,” stated Melissa L. Roy, Chief Diversity Officer and Director Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for RCC.
