The Arc Westchester Hosts Annual ‘Golfing for Kids’ Fundraiser Sept. 28

The Arc Westchester is excited to announce its annual ‘Golfing for Kids’ golf outing, scheduled for Monday, September 28th, 2026, to be held at Knollwood Country Club in Elmsford. This year's event promises to be a memorable day filled with fun, food, and philanthropy, all in support of their Children's School for Early Development, one of the largest providers of community-based, specialized services for young children with developmental disabilities in Westchester County.

Event Highlights:

• Date and Time: September 28th, 10:30 AM registration and brunch 11:30 AM – Shotgun Tee Time 4:30 PM – Cocktail Reception 5:30 PM – Dinner and Program

• Special Golf Clinic sponsored by Metropolitan Golf Association for 15-20 adults with developmental disabilities supported by The Arc Westchester 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM

• Location: Knollwood Country Club, 200 Knollwood Road Extension, Elmsford, NY.

• Integrated Protection Solutions - Recognized for their longtime partnership providing fire prevention and security solutions to The Arc Westchester, including the Children’s School for Early Development at their new location.

Fundraising Goals: The Arc Westchester has set a goal of raising $250,000 this year, building on the success of last year's event. All funds raised are dedicated exclusively to the Children's School for Early Development which provides educational, social and support services for children, from birth to five years of age, and their families.

Statistics show that early childhood intervention is critical to ensuring that children can thrive later in life. Nonetheless, government funding remains inadequate.

Following the dream of a mother looking for playmates for her child with special needs, The Arc Westchester’s Children’s School for Early Development got its start in a church basement in Pelham, NY over 75 years ago.
