PXG on Route 4 in Paramus hosted a one-night only event on May 6th with three LPGA professionals so customers could test their skills against the pros. Golfers Auston Kim, Minji Kang and Gina Kim took on the challenge.

More than twenty customers tried their hand at three golf games including Bullseye, Straightest Drive and Closest to the Pin. Then it was up to the pros to put in their best performances. Twelve-year-old Sharon Kim beat all three in the Bullseye challenge which earned her a dozen PXG golf balls.

Attendees had an opportunity to meet and speak with Auston Kim, Minji Kang and Gina Kim throughout the evening and talk with them about the opportunities and challenges of playing golf professionally. The pros also signed hats and golf balls for those in attendance.

During the Q&A session, all three shared how they maintain focus and concentration during tournaments. They emphasized the significance of their years of practice which ensures they are prepared, regardless of how the previous day's practice went. When asked about snacks they take with them on the course, dried mango, trail mix and bananas were among the favorites. Their advice to young players aspiring to go pro is to ensure they have a passion for the game. All three emphasized that playing professional golf has its ups and downs, so if a young person is making the commitment, they should genuinely enjoy playing. Augusta National topped the list of courses they hope to play in the coming years.
