How did you get to be in the job you have now?

I began at Citrin Cooperman in 2001 and was able to rise through the ranks to eventually become a partner and ultimately office managing partner in 2019.

What career did you think you would have when you were in high school?

CPA

What was the best advice you ever received?

Success doesn't happen in a straight line - do the right things every day, wake up, and repeat.

What piece of advice would you give to college seniors?

Appreciate the importance of developing deep and lasting relationships, it is as important as any other skill in business.

Do you have a particular charity you support? And why?

Maria Fareri Children's Hospital - A local charity that does amazing work for sick children.

Do you have a personal goal for 2023?

Prioritize my personal health.

Do you feel you have a good work/life balance?

Sometimes yes and sometimes no, for me this is and will always be a delicate balancing act.

When you feel stuck, how do you recharge yourself or get inspired?

I speak to others who are dealing with similar issues to bounce off ideas and talk through possible solutions and spend time with friends and family to put business issues into perspective.

Do you have a hobby?

Coaching Youth Travel Baseball, I love the opportunity to engage with youth and teach life skills through sports.

Do you have a habit you wish you could break?

I often take professional matters too personally at times.

Name one thing you are working towards in 2023?

Continuing to identify and acquire the best-in-class talent to our organization.

What one thing would you try (or do) if you weren’t afraid?

Skydiving again – I did it once but am afraid to tempt fate and try again.

If money wasn’t a concern, what would you be doing right now?

Great question – I don’t know I haven’t had time to ponder this one….

Outsiders and the Firm - An engaging story, interesting characters development, and countless twists and turns.

What do you want your legacy to be? Or how do you want to be remembered?

As someone who gave everything to be his best and help other people be theirs.

Is there anything else you would like to share about your work or interests?

I've always found building successful teams to be one of the most rewarding achievements I've experienced.
