People for People Fund to Host Second Annual Recognition Breakfast
MIDDLETOWN, NY (September 9, 2024) – People for People Fund will host its second annual Recognition Breakfast – a celebration of local volunteers and their contributions to the community – on Thursday, September 26 at 8 a.m. The free hour-long event, which will take place at the Wallkill Golf Club – 40 Sands Road in Middletown, NY – will acknowledge several individuals and organizations that have dedicated themselves to uplifting others within the region. The public is welcome to attend, but must email RSVP@peopleforpeoplefund.org by Monday, September 16 to reserve a seat.
This year’s honorees include:
- Barbara Carlsen – Lifetime Achievement Awardee
- Ulster Savings Bank – Community Service Awardee
- Joseph and Pamela Catania – People for People Champions
- Jennifer Birch and Justin LaMarch – the first-ever Positive People Awardees
- Rob Albino, Lee Baranowski, George Cullen, Carol Fenichel, Marilyn Hoffman and Lynn Skolnick – Our Amazing Volunteers

People for People Fund, a Middletown-based not-for-profit that provides interim financial assistance to steadily employed, self-reliant individuals who face unforeseen financial difficulties – is committed to bettering Orange, Ulster and Sullivan County through the notion of ‘people helping people.’ Its annual Recognition Breakfast, which is open to the public, is the organization’s way of giving back to those who regularly contribute their time and resources to the greater good of the Hudson Valley region.
