Down to Earth Living visits 5th Graders at Lime Kiln Elementary School to Talk about Gardening

Stuart Leventhal, owner of Down to Earth Living in Pomona, recently visited with the 5th graders in Mrs. Henry and Mrs. Hooper’s classes at Lime Kiln Elementary School. He showed them how to plant seeds and care for them as they grow into plants. Each student planted their own to take home in a pot made of peat moss so it could go directly into the ground or another larger pot. They also received a blooming plant to take home.
