Rockland Community College held its annual Senior Fair in the Eugene Levy Fieldhouse on September 22, from 10 am to 1 pm. The event, spearheaded by New York State Senator Elijah Reichlin-Melnick, featured more than 80 vendors and exhibitors offering information and resources for attendees—including a pickleball tutorial. There were breakout sessions on Medicare, budgeting and emergency savings, and a presentation from NYS Comptroller’s office of unclaimed funds. In addition, flu shots were available at the Fair.
A free lunch was provided by Rockland Community College, Hudson Valley Credit Union, Healthfirst, Aetna Insurance and AGA Medicare Options.
