Westchester Children’s Association (WCA) will host the first event in its Educational Webinar Series on Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 12:00–1:00 PM, focusing on New York State’s Early Intervention Program (EIP), a critical program supporting infants and toddlers ages 0–3 with developmental delays and disabilities. The webinar, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by Valley Bank.

Titled, Early Intervention in Westchester: Understanding the NYS EIP, the webinar will be presented via Zoom. The session’s featured speaker is Marina Yoegel, Assistant Commissioner for Children with Special Needs at the Westchester County Department of Health. Registration is required and can be completed at this link https://secure.everyaction.com/-AYfy_R7kE-3EOENkwCewg2

The Early Intervention Program plays a vital role in identifying and addressing developmental delays during a child’s earliest years. This webinar will explore how EIP operates in Westchester County, the current challenges placing stress on the program, and the advocacy needed to strengthen and sustain these essential services for children and families.

WCA’s Educational Webinar Series brings together experts, advocates, and community members to raise awareness of issues impacting children and young people ages 0–25 across Westchester County.
