The law firm of Enea, Scanlan & Sirignano, LLP, with offices in White Plains and Somers, N.Y., is pleased to announce South Salem resident Samantha A. Lyons has become a member of the firm. Ms. Lyons joined Enea, Scanlan & Sirignano as an associate attorney in 2013.

Named a Rising Star in the 2021 New York Metro edition of Super Lawyers, Ms. Lyons concentrates her practice in Elder Law with a focus on Medicaid applications (nursing home and home care), Medicaid planning, estate planning and guardianships. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association’s Elder Law and Special Needs Section where she is the Co-Chair of the Sponsorship Section and an active Member of the Medicaid Committee. Ms. Lyons is also a member of the Westchester County Bar Association and a committee member of Senior Law Day in Westchester County.

Prior to Enea, Scanlan & Sirignano, Ms. Lyons was a law clerk for the Westchester County Board of Legislators with additional experience interning for the Westchester County District Attorney's Office, the Honorable John P. Colangelo of the Westchester Supreme Court, and the White Plains and Yonkers Family Courts. She is also a former volunteer for the New York Law Help Program.

Ms. Lyons received a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Pace University and a J.D. from the Pace University School of Law. She is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
