Westchester’s Tech Ecosystem Convenes for Element 46 Tech Accelerator Powered by Quay 2024 Fall Cohort Demo Day

The Element 46 Tech Accelerator Powered by Quay (formerly Cela Innovation), Westchester County’s full-scale startup accelerator program, hosted a Demo Day to celebrate the accomplishments of its 2024 fall cohort. The event was held on November 21 and was attended by a carefully curated group of more than 100 investors, experienced entrepreneurs, press, and mentors, while featuring pitches from some of Westchester County’s most groundbreaking tech startups.

Westchester County Executive George Latimer said: “The caliber of innovations showcased during Demo Day exemplified the level of innovation, determination, and ingenuity that Westchester County’s entrepreneurial ecosystem is known for. The education and mentorship that participants received during this rigorous accelerator program will have a lasting impact on their ventures, and we look forward to watching these 12 businesses grow and evolve.”

Westchester County Director of Economic Development Bridget Gibbons said: “We are impressed by the growth these ventures have achieved during their time in the Element 46 Tech Accelerator. Each brings a unique value proposition to their respective markets and is poised for continued success.”

Westchester County Director of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Deborah Novick said: “The Element 46 Tech Accelerator is designed to be a springboard for startups that are growing in Westchester. The 12 ventures showcased at Demo Day are determined to solve real-world problems, improve quality of life, streamline business efficiencies and more. We are proud of what this cohort has achieved and to have played a role in their journeys.”

The participants in Element 46’s Fall 2024 Demo Day, included:

· ACQUA Solutions (Yonkers): ACQUA Solutions helps small and remote communities solve the challenge of accessing clean and affordable water by providing energy-efficient, sustainable water treatment technologies, including advanced filtration and wastewater treatment systems. ACQUA Solutions has a licensing agreement with the University of Michigan for PFAS removal technology and a temporary licensing agreement for additional innovations and is looking for strategic partnerships.

· Advanced GP (Dobbs Ferry): Advanced GP is an AI startup that helps investment management firms solve for manually intensive operations by automating reporting and communication tasks. Advanced GP has developed an Alpha AI with customer interest.

· Alline (Yorktown): Alline is a SaaS platform that helps small business owners solve marketing challenges by providing step-by-step guidance to develop a customized marketing plan tailored to their business, leveraging artificial intelligence to customize marketing strategies. Alline has created an early-stage version of the platform.

· Astrabeam LLC (Scarsdale): Astrabeam is a fabless semiconductor design startup that builds sub-terahertz imaging radar sensors for autonomous mobile robot manufacturers and system integrators to operate safely and reliably in complex environmental conditions. Astrabeam has demonstrated a proof-of-concept high-resolution surround-view radar sensor.

· Augie (White Plains): Augie solves enterprise video needs at scale. In particular, Augie helps the 70% of outbound marketers who have no video solution with its all-in-one AI-assisted video platform, Augie Studio. Augie raised $4.1MM in Seed funding in 2023, released a commercial product in June 2024, and has active distribution partnerships with TikTok and Dropbox, and others going live soon.

· Curation Lounge (Mount Vernon): Curation Lounge is an AI-powered service that will transform e-commerce across multiple industries. It empowers influencers, brands, and retailers to offer customers personalized recommendations and seamless shopping experiences. Its initial focus is on millennial men’s fashion and self-care, but plans to expand across various lifestyle categories. By blending advanced AI technology with expert insights, it is creating a new standard for personalized commerce. Curation Lounge has a functional prototype with AI-driven recommendation capabilities, initial users, and influencer partnerships.

· DIYBook (Larchmont): DIYBook helps life story writers and business owners solve the problem of starting and completing their books by providing affordable, easy-to-follow writing prompts created by a professional ghostwriter with nearly 20 years of writing experience.

· Global Key Solutions Group (White Plains): Global Key Solutions Corp (GKSC) helps pharmaceutical companies, specifically quality auditors and regulatory professionals, solve

the challenge of compliance and inspection readiness by providing FDA regulatory data through a streamlined software platform. GKSC has created a data dashboard product.

· Griz Inc. (Rye Brook): Griz Inc. is a tech company that created the IOS app FlipFlop. FlipFlop services universities and their students by streamlining school events and extracurricular information to enhance campus life. FlipFlop has acquired over 2,500 users and is available at over 200 campuses across the country.

· Portelle Inc (Eastchester): Portelle is a digital platform that provides a curated marketplace and SaaS programs for women-owned e-commerce businesses. Portelle has an MVP with vendors and customers.

· Tangible Results, Inc. dba VibroAcousticsNY (New Rochelle): The Sonic Calm Mat helps those suffering from PTSD, first responders, and individuals in high-stress occupations effortlessly reduce harmful cortisol levels, which then causes significant reductions in blood pressure, pulse rate, anxiety, tension, muscle spasticity, and poor sleep quality by integrating two well-studied soundwave delivery techniques into a portable mat. Tangible Results, Inc. has done successful work with a prominent Sleep Medicine Clinic and at Mount Sinai Hospital using a mock prototype.

· ZeroWheel, Inc. (Armonk): ZeroWheel, Inc. is a fitness technology company that has developed a revolutionary smart, motorized fitness device designed to deliver personalized, full-body workouts through state-of-the-art motor technology and app integration. ZeroWheel is being used by professional sports teams, such as the Los Angeles Rams, and on the PGA Tour, and has received $1.8M in investment.
