Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors’ Leaders Inducted into National Association of Realtors RPAC Hall of Fame

The Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors® Inc. (HGAR) is pleased to announce that Dorothy Botsoe, Anthony Domathoti and Richard Haggerty have been inducted into the National Association of Realtors’ Political Action Committee (RPAC) Hall of Fame. The induction recognizes dedicated members for their financial support and commitment to promote the election of pro-Realtor® candidates across the U.S.

Botsoe, an HGAR past president and broker-owner of Dorothy Jensen Realty, Inc. of White Plains was recognized for her contributions of $100,000.

“It is an honor and a privilege to be a part of this group of Realtors advocating for homeownership in the purchasing, selling and renting of real property at the local, state and national levels,” said Botsoe. “It takes all of us to make homeownership a reality and we must each do our part. I am happy to be a cog in the wheel.”

HGAR’s immediate past president, Domathoti, broker-owner of EXIT Realty Premium in the Bronx, was cited for his $25,000 contribution.

“I am honored to be inducted into the NAR RPAC Hall of Fame,” Domathoti said. “I’m committed to RPAC because I see the great difference it makes in our industry, for our clients, and in delivering the dream of homeownership. You can see the results of RPAC investments every day. There is nothing we do that hasn’t been influenced or established without RPAC and advocacy by the Realtor® organizations at the local, state and national levels.”

Haggerty, CEO of OneKey® MLS, the largest multiple listing service in New York, was recognized for his contributions of $75,000.

“I have been an enthusiastic RPAC supporter for many years during my career as a real estate industry executive leader and was first inducted into the RPAC Hall of Fame in 2015 when my voluntary contributions reached the first $25,000 mark,” said Haggerty.

“RPAC is vital to our success. It’s the key to protecting homeownership and our industry’s interests,” Haggerty said. “It brings me great satisfaction to be recognized by my colleagues and the Realtor® community for my contribution to RPAC knowing it helps to make our industry stronger.”

Haggerty, Botsoe and Domathoti were inducted into RPAC’s Hall of Fame May 8 at NAR’s annual Legislative Meetings and Trade Expo at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

Botsoe sits on the National Association of Realtors Diversity Committee and the Board of Directors as a voting member, is a director for the New York State Association of Realtors (NYSAR) and NAR, chairs the NYSAR Fair Housing and Cultural Diversity Committee, and is an RPAC trustee. She was named the NYSAR Realtor of the Year in 2020, and received the Lawrence B. Caldwell RPAC Award in 2020.

Domathoti served as the 2022 president of HGAR and sits on the NYSAR Board of Directors and 2023 NAR Leadership Academy. He is the co-chair of RPAC and a member of RPAC President’s Circle.

Haggerty took the reins of OneKey® MLS on Jan. 1, 2023, after serving as its President and Chief Strategic Growth Officer. He is the former CEO of HGAR, a position he held since 2012. Under Haggerty’s leadership, HGAR grew its geographic reach significantly throughout the northern suburbs and into the Bronx. Haggerty also was at the forefront of promoting DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) at HGAR, and he also stepped up global initiatives for the association, which became a principal member of FIABCI-USA, the International Real Estate Federation in 2022.
