The Denizen Theatre, the Hudson Valley's only black box theater, is proud to present its first in-person production since the COVID-19 pandemic. "Apples in Winter" is about a mother who bakes an actual apple pie on stage for her son on death row, as his last meal. The powerhouse one-woman play, starring Jennifer Delora, will stir your heart but also, surprisingly, make you laugh out loud, as it explores the ideas of mercy, motherhood and madness. Written by Albany-based playwright Jennifer Fawcett and directed by James P. Rees ("Mr. Robot," "Orange is the New Black"), tickets are $28 for general admission, $24 for seniors and $5 for students.
