Nursey School of the Nyacks' Winter Book Fair is taking place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, in Memorial Hall at Grace Episcopal Church, 130 First Ave., Nyack. The event. is free and open to the public.
Big Red Books will have a curated selection of books appropriate for ages 2-6 as well as puzzles and games. The school will host a fundraising bake sale. Attendees can bring a gently used toy to swap or donate.
Nursery School of the Nyacks is a cooperative, nonsectarian preschool serving children ages 2–5 which was founded in 1998 by local parents.
With classrooms designed around activity centers — such as art, music, science, dramatic play, and outdoor exploration — children learn through discovery and collaboration. NSN also offers a Summer Play Program and an Afternoon Arts partnership with the Creative Arts Workshop.
