NBA Coach Returns to RCC for a Q&A - Free Event

Image removed.

We are excited to welcome RCC Alumnus (class of 1970) Bruce Kreutzer to our Campus to kick off a new series “Life After the Rock!” at RCC.

Friday, April 8th at 4:00 pm
Rockland Community College - Ellipse, Tech Center

Bruce Kreutzer is an Assistant Coach with the NBA Team the Orlando Magic. He served as an assistant coach at Queens University and was head coach at Garinger High School where he won the 4A Boys State High School title in 1989 and then served as head coach at Massanutten Military Academy leading his team to a No. 9 ranking nationally in 2006. He then joined former Charlotte Hornets assistant coach and four-time NBA All-Star Mark Price to form the Mark Price Shooting Lab in Atlanta where he served as lead shooting instructor and play development coach.

Bruce served as a shooting consultant for the NBA D-League and Philadelphia 76ers. He has been an assistant coach with Orlando Magic since 2018 where he serves as a shooting coach. He is partly credited with helping Kemba Walker transform into a strong shooter. His continued presence with the team gives the young players a measure of consistency as they continue to work on improving their shooting.

Bruce is a 1968 graduate of Pearl River High School and will be inducted into their Sports Hall of Fame at a dinner on April 9th. He is being honored for having played all-county basketball at Pearl River and is also being recognized as an NCAA Division II Final Four Coach and an NBA Assistant Coach.

The public is welcome to attend the Q&A at Rockland Community College with Bruce on Friday at 4pm in the RCC Ellipse. The event is free.  More info and RSVP info here
