Alexandra Downey Thomas, Of Counsel at Feldman, Kleidman, Collins & Sappe LLP, Honored by Dutchess County Bar Association

Further demonstrating its commitment to excellence, Feldman, Kleidman, Collins & Sappe LLP (FKC&S) has announced that Alexandra Downey Thomas, who serves Of Counsel, has been awarded the 2026 Amee VanTassel Young Lawyer Award by the Dutchess County Bar Association. This prestigious recognition honors attorneys with less than 10 years of professional practice who exemplify the late VanTassel’s spirit and character. Recipients are also chosen for their ongoing service to the Bar, their communities and pro-bono commitments, as well as esteem and recognition they have earned from peers for outstanding professionalism and civility.

Thomas joined FKC&S in 2026 and represents matters pertaining to medical malpractice defense and professional liability. Holding her Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School, Thomas is an active member of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, Dutchess County Bar Association and Mid-Hudson Women’s Bar Association. In addition to her professional work, she volunteers with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s (AFSP) Hudson Valley/Westchester chapter.
