🎶 BridgeMusik Announces 2025 Summer Festival and Concert Series: August 3–17 in Rockland County, NY

Tappan, NY – June 2025 — BridgeMusik is excited to announce its 8th Annual Summer Music Festival, running from August 3–17, 2025, and featuring a dynamic series of free concerts and events open to the public throughout Rockland County.

Held at the air-conditioned and wheelchair-accessible Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (OLSH) Auditorium in Tappan, as well as local libraries and community centers, this year’s festival continues BridgeMusik’s mission to bring together world-class artists and the next generation of musicians in both jazz and classical traditions.

The 2025 Festival includes Jazz Week (August 3–10) and Classical Week (August 11–17), with community concerts, student recitals, and faculty showcases that celebrate BridgeMusik’s collaborative and inclusive spirit.

🎷 Jazz Week Highlights (August 3–10)

• Sunday, August 3, 4PM – Opening Concert: Suite Sounds of Gershwin and Bolling
  A genre-blending kickoff featuring acclaimed pianist David Budway and BridgeMusik faculty.

• Tuesday, August 5, 11AM – Community Jazz Concert
  Blauvelt Free Library (Behringer Room)
• Saturday, August 9, 2PM – Library Jazz Performance
  Nyack Library
• Saturday, August 9, 7PM – Student Jazz Recital
  Young musicians perform jazz standards and original arrangements.
  OLSH Auditorium
• Sunday, August 10, 4PM – Jazz Masters in Concert
  A powerful performance by BridgeMusik’s jazz faculty.

• Thursday, August 14, 7:30PM – J.S. Bach: A Sound Sanctuary
  A meditative program of works by Bach performed by faculty and advanced students.
  Little Chapel at OLSH
• Saturday, August 16, 2PM – Chamber Music Library Concert
  Valley Cottage Library (reserve your seat directly on the library website)
• Saturday, August 16, 6:30PM & 8PM – Classical Student Recitals
  Solo and chamber performances by talented young artists.

• Sunday, August 17, 4PM – Festival Finale: Beethoven to Sousa
  A joyful orchestral concert featuring over 50 musicians performing classical and patriotic favorites.
