People for People Fund Continues to Strengthen Leadership with New Board Members
Demonstrating its commitment to internal and external growth and development, People for People Fund, a not-for-profit that provides interim financial support to residents facing an unforeseen fiscal crisis, has appointed Jennifer Traverse and Danielle Henry to its board of directors. Working collaboratively with the board, Traverse and Henry will support initiatives that bolster the mission of neighbors helping neighbors, build community awareness, welcome new volunteers and more. With their commitment to driving positive change, Traverse and Henry will work closely to foster deeper connections in the communities they serve.
“These two impressive individuals are right at home on our board,” said Nolly Climes, president, People for People Fund. “Jennifer and Danielle embody the spirit and mission of People for People Fund and are all in on providing unwavering support and assistance to our Ulster, Orange and Sullivan County neighbors.”
Traverse comes to People for People Fund with a background of nearly 15 years in public practice, specializing in nonprofit, governmental and financial institution auditing and accounting. An active member of the community, Traverse volunteers with several local organizations, including Wallkill East Rotary, Dispute Resolution Center and the Greater Newburgh Symphony Orchestra. Currently, Traverse holds the position of chief financial and operating officer for First Federal Savings of Middletown and serves on the Banking Committee of the New York State Society of CPAs, while also belonging to AICPA. She resides in Middletown with her husband Erich and their daughter Katherine.
Henry joins the board of directors with immense experience in the management consulting industry, focusing on social impact digital marketing, branding, web development and operations within both for-profit and nonprofit sectors. She is the active founder and CEO of Great Dane 921 Consulting, as well as the director of project management at Tier 1 Solutions Group. In addition to her bachelor’s degree in American politics from New York University, Henry also holds a master of arts in public and nonprofit management and policy with a specialization in general finance from the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and a Psy.D in the organization and leadership psychology with a concentration in the neuroscience of leadership from William James College. Born and raised in New York, Henry enjoys participating in cultural outings to museums, gardens or immersive exhibits around New York City.
