The Arc Westchester Foundation, dedicated to enriching the lives of people with developmental disabilities and their families, will host its annual food and wine-tasting fundraiser, “A Matter of Taste,” on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle.
Now in its 19th year, A Matter of Taste is one of Westchester County’s most anticipated philanthropic events, bringing together more than 20 of the area’s top restaurants for an unforgettable evening of food, drink, and community. The event draws more than 400 guests each year, including longtime supporters, partners, business representatives, and members of the Westchester community.
This year The Arc Westchester Foundation will honor two exceptional partners who have significantly contributed to The Arc Westchester’s mission. The Family Partner Award will be presented to the Majsak family, honoring their decades of steadfast service, commitment, and advocacy on behalf of the people supported by The Arc Westchester.
Tibisay A. Guzmán, CEO of The Arc Westchester, who recently announced her retirement after 22 years of visionary stewardship, will be honored with the Distinguished Leadership Award in recognition of her extraordinary leadership in guiding The Arc Westchester into the future while honoring its proud history of excellence.
During the event, attendees will enjoy an array of signature dishes crafted by Westchester’s finest chefs, paired with fine wines, specialty cocktails, and craft beers. Proceeds from the evening support The Arc Westchester’s vital programs and services for children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families across Westchester County.
Known for his numerous film and television roles, actor Kevin Kilner will return to emcee the event for the fourth year. Kilner has enjoyed a 40-year career spanning Broadway and off-Broadway productions, as well as hundreds of television and film appearances. His film credits include Raising Helen, A Cinderella Story, Smart House, and Home Alone III, with television roles on Bull, NCIS, The Blacklist, The Good Wife, and House of Cards. His continued involvement brings both warmth and energy to the evening.
Numerous sponsorship opportunities are available, and tickets can be purchased here arcwestchester.org/MOT2026/.
Barry Clark, Executive Director of The Arc Westchester Foundation, expressed excitement about the event, stating, “There is truly no other event like A Matter of Taste. The incredible food, the generosity of our restaurant partners, and the sense of community in the room make it a powerful celebration of inclusion and support. We are looking forward to another inspiring evening that directly benefits the people and families we serve.”
