RBA to Host Annual Pinnacle Awards - Nominations Now Open

The Rockland Business Association (RBA) will host the organization’s annual Pinnacle Awards on Sunday, May 31, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Hilton Pearl River, bringing together business and community leaders for an unforgettable grand cocktail reception and dinner. The RBA Pinnacle Awards were handed out annually from 2003 through 2019 but the 2020 event was put on hold due to Covid. The event was reintroduced last year and was well attended with over 200 people celebrating the award recipients.

“Last year’s event was an extraordinary success, and we are thrilled to be hosting it again this year. This event recognizes leaders and trailblazers shaping Rockland County’s business landscape and we are looking forward to honoring those who exemplify excellence, innovation, and a deep commitment to our community,” said Jeffrey Greenberg, CEO of the RBA.

Honoring Excellence Across Key Categories

The 2026 Pinnacle Awards will feature six distinguished award categories, each celebrating exceptional achievements in business and community impact. Nominations are now open in the following categories:

  • Al Samuels Award for Overall Business Excellence – Recognizing an organization or individual who demonstrates outstanding innovation, growth, leadership, and community impact.
  • Outstanding Corporate Citizenship Award – Honoring a company that has made a significant philanthropic or service-oriented contribution to Rockland County.
  • Excellence in Sustainability Award – Recognizing a business committed to social responsibility and environmental sustainability, making a lasting positive impact on the community.
  • Outstanding Achievement by a Woman in Business – Celebrating a female leader for her professional success, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Outstanding Achievement by a Non-Profit Organization – Recognizing a nonprofit for exceptional leadership, impact, and innovation in advancing its mission.
  • Outstanding Achievement by a Small Business (Less than 15 employees) – Honoring a small business for its contributions to local economic growth and community engagement.
    • Once again this category will be announced in a surprise Oscar-type reveal from all nominees

Sponsorship and Ticket Information

This year’s Premiere Presenting Sponsor is Orange & Rockland. Additional sponsorship opportunities include:

  • Gold Sponsor ($10,000) – Six seats at the event, recognition in all event promotions, company 60 second promotional video, logo inclusion in promotional materials and program journal, verbal recognition during the event, full page journal ad, on-screen logo display.
  • Silver Sponsor ($5,000) – Four seats at the event, recognition in event promotions, and a half-page ad in the journal.

Individual tickets are $225 per person if purchased by February 28 and $250 after that date. Tables of ten can be purchased for $2,000 until February 28 and $2,500 after that date.
