A determined group of golfers showed up for the last night of the PXG GEN6 Driver Challenge and four walked away big winners at PXG in New Rochelle. The evening featured the final night of the GEN6 Driver Challenge, where individuals brought in their own drivers to try to outperform the PXG GEN6 Driver. Only two were successful and received $100 USD Mastercard Rewards Cards.
Throughout the month of August, PXG’s GEN6 Driver squared up against 44 different brands across the globe and won 93 percent of all challenges. Overall highlights include:
2280 CHALLENGES COMPLETED
Distance – PXG outdrove competitors by an average 8.6 yards
- PXG average distance, 242 yards
- Competitor average distance, 234 yards
Dispersion – PXG dispersion was tighter by an average 14’ 6”
- PXG average dispersion, 33’7”
- Competitor average dispersion, 48’1”
Swing Speed – PXG swing speed was faster by 1.2mph
- PXG average swing speed 96mph
- Competitor average swing speed 94.8mph
In addition, there were two winners in the Longest Drive competition with Jordan Linkowski of Bedford coming in at 282 yards for the men and Sophia Li with 252 yards for the women. Each won a PXG GEN6 Driver valued at $499. Sophia Li, a resident of New York City, won the NYS Girls’ Junior Amateur Title in 2022.
“I’ve been playing golf for years with my grandfather’s clubs. The difference with the PXG Driver was astounding. I’m looking forward to purchasing a full set now that I understand the benefit of having clubs that are custom fit to your swing,” stated Linkowksi.
In addition, two individuals will be outfitted in PXG’s latest fall apparel collection as winners of the door prizes for the evening. Jesse Gaber of Nanuet and Karen Stroman of Tuckahoe, both avid golfers, are looking forward to being decked out in the new PXG fall/winter fashion line for their next round.
