Rockland Community College will host a Career & Resource Fair on Tuesday, April 11 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in the Fieldhouse on RCC’s main campus in Suffern, NY. The event is open to the public, entry is free for job seekers, and registration is not required. More than 60 companies are expected to participate with openings for part-time, full-time, entry-level, and professional positions. Industries represented will include manufacturing, business, health, tech, homeland security, and more.
"RCC is thrilled to host our annual Career & Resource Fair. The Spring fair provides job-seekers access to employers and resources from around the community. We know that both applicants and employers benefit tremendously from this opportunity. This year, we have a wide variety of organizations and industries seeking committed, hardworking, and enthusiastic employees to fill available positions,” stated Dr. Jean Leandre, Dean of Career and Professional Development.
“As a first-year student at RCC, I'm already thinking about my future career. I'm excited to attend the Career Fair and learn about different employment opportunities and the skills I will need in order to obtain and excel in my job,” states Maceline Louissaint, a Nursing major from Stony Point, New York.
Employers are invited to participate and can advertise part-time, full-time, and professional positions. Registration is open and free for employers but is required by March 24, 2023 at 8:00 am. Interested employers must first sign up on RCC’s 12Twenty platform (click “Sign up for an account” on the homepage) and can then register for the Career & Resource Fair.
