Palisades Center to Host Nanuet School District's Art and Culture Event

Palisades Center will host the 9th Annual Nanuet School District Art Department Exhibition in partnership with Nanuet and Beyond and the Greater Nanuet Chamber of Commerce. Nineteen of Palisades Center’s businesses will collectively display 100 works of art from Nanuet students ranging from kindergarten to 12th grade. This year’s art pieces are themed, Uniquely Me.

The works of art will be on display from March 10 - March 24 in the following storefront windows:

Parents, students, and the community are encouraged to create their own Uniquely Me art walk using the online map and list of stores on www.palisadescenter.com, www.nanuetandbeyond.org, and www.nanuetchamber.com.

Art and cultural celebrations are wonderful ways for students to share those unique connections with the world around us. The Nanuet Union Free School District is grateful that Nanuet and Beyond and the Palisades Center are once again partnering with our amazing teachers to celebrate our Knights. “Nanuet & Beyond is a non-profit organization created to support and provide educational opportunities for our youth that enhance existing program experiences both within and outside the classroom,” said George Mollo, President of Nanuet and Beyond. “One of our organization’s goals is to promote the advancement of art in our classrooms and community through programs like The Nanuet School District’s Art and Culture Event. We thank the Palisades Center and the businesses showcasing the art this year. Donations made to Nanuet and Beyond (www.nanuetandbeyond.org) are tax-deductible and go back to the community through programs like this and grants/scholarships for graduating seniors from local high schools.”

Palisades Center will host a reception for the participating students, parents, and friends on Friday, March 24, from 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM in the East Court on Level One.
