“We are honored to host the Nanuet School District's 9th Annual Art and Culture Exhibition," said Darrin Houseman, General Manager of Palisades Center. "For the past three years, our guests have looked forward to visiting during exhibition week to see the beautiful works of art on display. We thank Nanuet Beyond and the Nanuet School District for choosing Palisades Center to host your event, and we look forward to continuing our partnership for many years to come."
“Uniquely Me is the perfect theme for the 9th Annual Nanuet School District Art and Cultural Exhibition at Palisades Center, as it embraces our Mission’s focus on individuality,” said Dr. Kevin R. McCahill, Superintendent of the Nanuet Union Free School District. “The learning process is elevated when students connect their understanding of the world to personal passions, cultures, and family traditions. Art and cultural celebrations are wonderful ways for students to share those unique connections with the world around us. The Nanuet Union Free School District is grateful that Nanuet and Beyond and the Palisades Center are once again partnering with our amazing teachers to celebrate our Knights. Come see how they share their individuality through art and cultural expression!”
“Nanuet & Beyond is a non-profit organization created to support and provide educational opportunities for our youth that enhance existing program experiences both within and outside the classroom,” said George Mollo, President of Nanuet and Beyond. “One of our organization’s goals is to promote the advancement of art in our classrooms and community through programs like The Nanuet School District’s Art and Culture Event. We thank the Palisades Center and the businesses showcasing the art this year. Donations made to Nanuet and Beyond (www.nanuetandbeyond.org) are tax-deductible and go back to the community through programs like this and grants/scholarships for graduating seniors from local high schools.”
“The Greater Nanuet Chamber of Commerce is grateful to the Palisades Center’s businesses for hosting the Art and Culture Event this year,” said Jerry Tuchband, President of The Greater Nanuet Chamber of Commerce. “We encourage the community to view the artwork throughout Palisades Center and donate what they can to Nanuet and Beyond for future student programs and scholarships.”
Palisades Center will host a reception for the participating students, parents, and friends on Friday, March 24, from 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM in the East Court on Level One.
