Civil & Human Rights Hall of Fame Reception

In honor of Black History Month, Rockland County Executive Ed Day and County Human Rights Commissioner Spencer Chiimbwe are hosting the first-ever Rockland County Civil and Human Rights Hall of Fame Reception for former inductees.

The Rockland County Civil and Human Rights Hall of Fame was designed to raise public awareness about human rights issues and foster an environment that promotes discussion and education regarding Rockland's civil rights history and ongoing challenges.

The upcoming reception will celebrate the former inductees in the County’s Hall of Fame and their commitment to creating an atmosphere that embraces and supports social justice initiatives in Rockland.
