How did you get to be in the job you have now?

The ladder to get here was born first from strong female mentorship, resilience, and not least, an undying, unwavering passion to lead.

What career did you think you would have when you were in high school?

Nurse

Do you have a personal goal for 2023?

Smile even more. Positivity had much to do with my success in 2022. It’s more important than ever to see the glass half full.

What was the best advice you ever received?

When I became the most genuine form of myself in leadership is when I had the most success. The best advice I’ve received is to be genuine.

What piece of advice would you give to college seniors?

Find your inner disruptor. What do you think should change and how can you appropriately affect that? Believe in your ideas and thoughts.

What would you do if you weren’t afraid?

Sky Diving

Do you have a particular charity you support? And why?

SPCA WESTCHESTER - my love for animals drives this passion.

Do you have a hobby?

Cooking is one of my favorite pastimes.

If money wasn’t a concern, what would you be doing right now?

Chalet, hot chocolate, Swiss Alps

What do you want your legacy to be? Or how do you want to be remembered?

I want to have made people see the lighter side. Laugh more.

When you feel stuck, how do you recharge yourself or get inspired?

I always start by reminding myself of the many things I am fortunate for. I also enjoy cooking with music on - very therapeutic for me!

Do you feel you have a good work/life balance? If so, why, or how did you achieve that?

YES. Gannett has been incredible at fostering an environment that respects balance. From the top of our organization, we are encouraged to find balance.

Amadeus, Forrest Gump

Do you have a habit you wish you could break?

Get rid of the drawer full of clutter. How does that clutter even happen!!!???

Greater sense of Mindfulness & Breathing

What is one of your favorite books?

Tell The Wolves I’m Home - My sister’s amazing coming-of-age novel.

Is there anything else you would like to share about your work or interests?

It brings me great joy to work alongside my incredibly talented team at Gannett and strive each day to help local businesses thrive in an environment that is incredibly complex to see success in.
