Join BridgeMusik for New Voices, New Horizons, the opening concert of Student Festival Week presented as part of the BridgeMusik Summer Festival 2026: We the Music — Celebrating 250 Years of American Voices. This special concert brings together distinguished guest artists, festival faculty, and emerging musical voices in a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and new music. The program features The Dolphins Quartet and the world premiere of a newly commissioned work created and performed by The Dolphins Quartet especially for the BridgeMusik Summer Festival 2026. The concert also includes performances by the Continuum Wind Quintet and members of the BridgeMusik Festival Faculty, highlighting the festival's commitment to artistic excellence, mentorship, and the creation of new American music. Bringing together established professionals and the next generation of musicians, this opening concert sets the stage for a week of learning, collaboration, and performance. This concert launches BridgeMusik's Student Festival Week, where young musicians work alongside leading performers and educators in an immersive environment focused on artistic growth, chamber music, and community.

Inspired by the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States, this year's BridgeMusik Summer Festival explores the rich tapestry of American musical life through the works of American composers, jazz innovators, and immigrant artists who helped shape the nation's cultural identity.

Festival highlights include Stravinsky's The Soldier's Tale at the Nyack Center on August 1–2, the world premiere of Dedication to Faust by Thomas Cabaniss, a newly commissioned work created and performed by The Dolphins Quartet, free Chamber Hour library concerts, student performances, and collaborations between emerging musicians and professional artists.

The festival continues through August 16 with concerts, community performances, educational programs, and special events celebrating American musical voices across generations.
