My Lord, What a Night

Penguin Rep Theatre kicks off its 2026 season with My Lord, What a Night, a moving new play by Deborah Brevoort inspired by true events. When world-renowned singer Marian Anderson is denied a hotel room because of her race, she finds an unexpected host in Albert Einstein. Directed by Joe Brancato, this heartfelt production explores friendship, courage, music and the fight for human rights.
