BridgeMusik’s ReStart Rockland Arts Opening: BridgeMusik Students and Faculty in Performance featuring renowned flutist Carol Wincenc. Date: Saturday, May 1 at 3 PM (May 2 rain date). The initial concert to launch BridgeMusik’s ReStart Rockland Arts will be held on May 1st at DeWint House in Tappan and will feature students and faculty from the BridgeMusik Academy in solo and ensemble performances. The concert will feature acclaimed American flutist and Juilliard faculty member, Carol Wincenc, as well as the world premiere of a new BridgeMusik commission by American composer, Beata Moon. The concert will also include the live premiere “Birdsongs for Equitable Togetherness” which was written as a gift for Ms. Wincenc in 2020 by American flutist and composer Nicole Mitchell.
