Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue (LOHR), a nonprofit equine sanctuary dedicated to providing a safe haven for unwanted, abused or neglected horses, will hold an event in honor of Help A Horse Day on April 27th from 1-4 pm.

Help A Horse Day is a nationwide initiative that encourages horse lovers and advocates to come together to raise awareness and support for equine welfare. The day raises awareness for the need of horse sanctuaries and rescues. LOHR is proud to join this meaningful cause by hosting an event that promises to be both entertaining and educational.

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in educational workshops, where experienced professionals will share valuable insights into horse care, grooming techniques, and overall equine well-being. The festivities will also feature a variety of local vendors from the local community & food by The Comfort Zone.

Whether you're a seasoned horse enthusiast or simply curious about these beautiful creatures, LOHR invites you to join the celebration and make a positive impact on equine welfare. At just $5 a carload, this event welcomes families to bring everyone and learn about the programs Lucky Orphans offers.
