Nine working artists in Columbia County are set to receive individual grants of $1,000 each this week from CREATE Council On The Arts. The inaugural awards are the result of a new initiative sponsored by the Columbia County government to fund new work in the county. A ceremony will be held to honor grant winners at 6pm this Wednesday, December 6th at Lightforms Art Center, 743 Columbia St, Hudson NY. 12534 Light refreshments will be served.
