People for People Fund Accepting Nominations for "Positive People Award"

MIDDLETOWN, NY (July 11, 2024) – People for People Fund – a not-for-profit dedicated to providing temporary financial assistance to Orange, Ulster and Sullivan County residents who experience unexpected financial setbacks – has announced that nominations for its “Positive People Award” are open now through Wednesday, August 7, 2024. For the first time, People for People Fund is asking community members to nominate outstanding individuals and companies that exemplify the spirit of its mission – those that positively contribute to the community and, ultimately, help others.

Nominees must live, work or volunteer in Orange, Ulster or Sullivan County; self-nominations are accepted. For more information about the awards, or to submit a nomination, visit: https://rb.gy/9jbiew.

“People for People Fund would not exist without the support of our community,” said Nolly Climes, president, People for People Fund. “These awards will let us thank those who share our vision of ‘neighbors helping neighbors’. Whether nominees are familiar with our work or not, we hope that the public will help us recognize those who share our passion for giving back.”

Honorees will be notified by Thursday, August 29, 2024; awards will be presented at the Fund’s second annual Recognition Breakfast at Wallkill Golf Club on Thursday, September 26, 2024.
