Starting this Fall, Rockland Community College (RCC) will offer free tuition for eligible adults through SUNY Reconnect, a new initiative designed to help more New Yorkers earn a college degree.
SUNY Reconnect is available to New York residents between the ages of 25 and 55 who have not previously completed a college degree and who enroll in full-time or part-time associate degree programs in high demand fields.
Eligible RCC programs include:
“SUNY Reconnect aligns perfectly with Rockland Community College’s mission to provide our community a high-quality, purpose driven education that is both affordable and accessible,” said Dr. William Mullaney, President of Rockland Community College. “This will be a life-changing opportunity for adult learners to build the skills for today’s job market.”
To get started, eligible adult learners simply apply to RCC at no cost, complete the Federal Student Aid FAFSA application, and then complete the state aid application.
