WHAT:

The Westchester-Putnam Workforce Development Board (WPWDB) will hold its 2026 Annual Meeting, “Building the Clean Energy Talent Machine: Aligning Training with Opportunity.” The event will bring together businesses, workforce professionals, community organizations, educational leaders and job seekers to explore opportunities in the region’s growing clean energy economy.

The program will feature a keynote on the State of the Clean Energy Sector by Angela N. Son, CEO of The Green Launchpad, and Antuan Cannon, Vice President of Talent Development and Innovation at Willdan Energy Solutions. Attendees will also participate in interactive breakout sessions focused on green career pathways, employer hiring needs and better alignment between workforce training and industry demand.
