The Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley (CFHV) will bring together

conservation leaders, community organizations, funders and residents for “Resilient Landscapes, Resilient Communities,” a panel discussion exploring how protecting the Hudson Valley’s natural and cultural landscapes can help build stronger communities for generations to come.

In CFHV’s Voices of the Hudson Valley report, residents identified the region’s scenic beauty and natural environment among the qualities they value about living in the Hudson Valley. In response to what it heard, CFHV is helping direct philanthropy, resources and action toward preserving the landscapes that contribute to the region’s character and quality of life.

Held at Boscobel in Garrison, the conversation will explore how conservation, philanthropy, cultural preservation and community stewardship can work together to protect scenic beauty and biodiversity while strengthening climate resilience, recreation and quality of life. Following the discussion, attendees will have an opportunity to experience the landscape firsthand through a guided walk.
