It’s a Hudson Valley thing and if you know who Eggbert is, then you know how special he is to the local community & if you don't then bring the family down and join in on a tradition that has been taking place since 1971!

The Christmas trail to see Eggbert will run every Friday - Sunday from Black Friday (11/24) to Christmas Eve (12/24) hours are listed below.

The Christmas trail weaves through our nursery. You will wander through candy land, hangout with Eggberts barnyard pals (the cutest farm animals ever), browse Eggberts garage, try your hand on the slot car track, face painting, attend the chicken show in the barnyard theater, hangout with Santa, dance with Clair in her house, grab a bite in the food court, hop on the train to send a letter to Santa through Eggberts magic mailbox and so much more along the way! Don’t forget to stop into our tasting area where we will be sampling Newburgh Brewery’s Angry Eggbert IPA, Clair wine from Magnanini Winery & more (new items TBA). We cannot wait to share all the new features with you this year!

The best part of it all is we have partnered up with Moroney’s Motorcycles and we will be a toy drop off location for their annual toy drive to benefit the Cornerstone Family Health Center in Newburgh. (For the additional events that go along with the toy drive head over to Moroney's Facebook to get in the know!) We are thrilled to be a part of such a great cause! Eggbert will be taking a ride along with Jimmy over to the Motorcycle Museum to hang out with all the kids on December 2nd! When you drop off a toy at Devitt’s you will get a 20% coupon to spend on a ticket for the Christmas trail or to use in our Holiday shop!

Christmas trail to Eggbert:

Start date: November 24 (10am - 5pm)

End date: December 24 (10am - 2pm)

Fridays: 3pm - 7pm

Saturdays: 10am - 5pm

Sundays: 10am - 4pm

Christmas Shop Hours:

Monday - Thursday: 8am - 5pm

Fridays: 8am - 7pm

Saturday's: 8am - 5:30pm

Sunday’s: 9am - 4:30pm

The first portion of the Christmas trail will be open during the week for customers to walk through free of charge (it will start at the head of the trail and end with the farm animals) but Eggbert will only be working on the weekends.
