Now more than ever, there is a calling for caring, trained adults to guide children safely outdoors and provide simple creative activities that help them grow and thrive. The Strawtown curriculum which features creative time outdoors for learning groups is a powerful antidote to screen-saturation and social isolation.

In this workshop, participants will learn how to stage lessons that align children's curiosity with the living systems of nature outdoors. These methods help children to see the natural world as an extension of themselves, providing them with more meaningful relationships to inform and support their lives.
